Sizzle Silkies are a lovely cross breed hen created by crossing a frizzled feather chicken with a classic Silkie, Pipinchick Sizzles are bred and reared on their smallholding and are a product of Pekin frizzles and bearded Silkies. This combination of breeds results in a fun loving, confident chicken that has all the intuitive and robust attributes of the Pekin and the sweet docile nature of the Silkie. Truly stunning to look at and very friendly, great for first time chicken keepers as they make excellent pets.

Sizzle Silkies are very sweet birds, they have docile natures but at the same time are very cheeky and capable. They are a X breed of Silkie and Pekin and as such retain character traits from both breeds, they have the hardy and robust nature of the Pekin but the friendly and gentle character of a Silkie. They are naturally inquisitive and very fun to own, they like people and enjoy human company, they are smart little chickens and enjoy having lots of attention and enrichment. They make fantastic first time chickens and are fantastic pets for children.
